‘Eat the Evening’ world premiered on the final Administrators’ Fortnight and marks the sophomore function for Poggi and Vinel. The fashionable queer romance-thriller affords a bittersweet apocalyptic love story with a contemporary MMORPG twist because it takes place half in real-world France and half in a dynamic online game world. Within the movie, Pablo (Théo Cholbi), a small-time drug vendor, and his teenage sister Apolline (Lila Gueneau) have solid an unbreakable bond by way of their shared obsession with the net online game Darknoon. When Pablo falls for the mysterious Evening (Erwan Kepoa Falé), he will get swept up of their liaison, abandoning his sister to take care of the approaching shutdown of their digital haven alone. As Pablo’s reckless decisions provoke the wrath of a harmful rival gang, the tip of their digital life attracts close to, upending their actuality.
